Community
Our Commitment
"Reviver Technologies will strive to work with communities in which we operate, to generate a positive impact on society, whilst delivering real value to our customers, our shareholders and our people."
Our four key areas of involvement are:
1. Education
Investment in education is an investment in the future success of the communities and markets in which we operate. We support an initiative run by our local university (The University of Bedfordshire). The KEEP project is designed to assist local businesses in using local university talent on a project basis. This assists not only the business, but also develops the knowledge and skills of the graduate in a working environment. For example: KEEP mentoring projects.

2. Charities
We support The National Blind Childrens Society. The objective of the National Blind Children's Society (NBCS) is to enable blind and partially sighted children and young people to achieve their educational and recreational goals.
The NBCS vision is a world in which blind and partially sighted children their families and carers have equal access to information, advice and support in the areas of welfare, social care, health and education and that there are no barriers to inclusion. They do this by offering five key services:
Family Support and Information
Education Advocacy
Holidays and Activities
CustomEyes Large Print Books
ICT and Sensory Equipment

3. Involving our People
Reviver’s employees are encouraged to participate in community activities. We support and encourage their participation as school governors and members of education and industry partnerships.
|

|
4. Business Community Partnerships
We aim to establish and develop local business community partnerships for the benefit of people living, learning and working in the communities in which we have our main offices.
We currently support our local college (Dunstable) by sitting on their Computing and IT Advisory Committee. This assists the college in a number of forms, for example, improving the dialogue between the college and employers who sponsor students or working in partnership with respect to training activities.
