Understand your RPLATE’s service plan
Everything we do is about you, our customer. And your trust means the world to us. We hope you enjoyed the service plan that was included with your plate purchase, and experienced the benefits as soon as you install one on your vehicle.
What is an RPLATE Service Plan and why do I need one?
An active service plan gives you continuous access to your RPLATE’s features and benefits, current and future. We included a service plan at the time of purchase so you could enjoy the benefits instantly.
Dynamic, real-time display: Unlike a metal plate that's static the moment it leaves the manufacturer, the RPLATE knows what to display, can update when status changes, and reflects current registration validity automatically.
In-app registration renewal: Drivers can renew their vehicle registration directly through the Reviver app, skipping the DMV entirely.
Personalization: Drivers can customize their plate with messages, vanity designs, and specialty plate graphics from their phone.
LTE connectivity stays live: An active service plan keeps the RPLATE's cellular connection running, enabling all real-time display updates, remote changes, and app control. Without it, the plate reverts to a static display.
Firmware updates: Active subscribers receive ongoing firmware updates to the plate.
What happens if I do not extend my service plan?
Your RPLATE does not need an active service plan to display your license plate number. You will continue to have access to the features on your RPLATE until it expires at the end of your billing period.
Without an active service plan, your registration will not update on the RPLATE in addition to losing the benefits and features listed above.
When will these changes take place?
You will keep your service until your current billing period ends. This means that you will not lose access to any of the features within your plan until your current billing period ends and your plan expires.
Can I change my service plan level?
Yes, you can upgrade at any point at a prorated amount. You may request a down grade on your plan at any time and it will go into effect at your next renewal date.
